The Australian Ginger Industry Association has lodged a proposal to introduce a ginger Emergency Plant Pest Response (EPPR) levy to provide a sure mechanism for funding the ginger industry contribution for emergency responses that might be undertaken in the future. We invite you to lodge any objections, and the reasons for them, with either AGIA or the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, during a six-week period starting today and finishing on the 29th of November.
